The 27-year-old pop star released her new song Look What You Made Me Do last week with lyrics seemingly critical of the power couple. The singer announced this in his several Instagram images. "There will just be reputation".
Taylor Swift's new album Reputation, will be released in November. Even her tweet about the Women's March earned backlash. Yet despite a very public backlash against her, Swift never apologized for her mistakes or showed any desire to change. Swift's video bears some pretty eerie similarities to the 2016 crime, and it's worth noting that the lyrics accompanying said scene are: "I don't like your ideal crime / How you laugh when you lie / You said the gun was mine / Isn't cool, no, I don't like you". The rapper's last concert tour featured a floating and titled stage.
Another one from chest-of-wishes pointed out that Taylor may have poked fun at herself by making her the thirteenth snake - you know, seeing as how she does love the number "13".
The video casts its net wider, referencing everything from Swift's relationship with Tom Hiddleston to her recent victory in a sexual assault case.
In the video, Taylor seemed to throw some major shade at Katy Perry's musical accomplishments- or lack there of.
The British actor was photographed wearing a similar vest previous year when the couple were going out.
She cheekily had a group of male backup dancers wear crop tops with the same message, though in black, possibly to match the stilettos they rocked.
So what might her next video contain? At the end of the "LWYMMD" video, another Taylor asks, "What are you doing?" to which another one replies, "Getting receipts". Acknowledging one's flaws isn't the same as actually owning up to them, and so far, Swift has only done the former.
"I really don't like the new Taylor Swift song", another fan said sadly. "Oh - because she's dead".
"They find it pathetic that she still tries to keep an old feud going".
And hey, if you didn't like the video.
"Iconic. Perfect. You destroyed the haters", wrote Natalia Kozanecka, while Alex Goldschmidt said "congratulations in advance" for winning all of next year's MTV Awards.
Yeezy famously interrupted Taylor's acceptance speech at the MTV Video Music Awards in 2009.
