"Hi everybody, I am posting at Sinead's request, to let everyone who loves her know she is safe, and she is not suicidal", a note read on her Facebook page.
"I realize that Sinead has some serious mental health issues, but she appears to be completely out on a limb and I'm concerned for her safety", Lennox wrote.
She disclosed that she is suffering from three mental illnesses and has felt isolated since losing custody of her 13-year-old son.
Shortly after Sinead's clip was seen by millions, a 50-year-old took over her Facebook page in order to assure everyone that Sinead is safe, she has no suicidal tendencies and she received the required help.
Her tearful Facebook video discussing her own demons has fans extremely anxious about her safety. He said she is no longer staying there and police don't know where she is now living.
Shortly after posting the video, O'Connor sent out the address of the Travelodge which is in South Hackensack, New Jersey.
Sinéad O'Connor has reportedly been hospitalized several days after recording a video saying she was suicidal, depressed and living in a motel in New Jersey. The confronting twelve-minute video sees O'Connor outline her struggles, before alluding to suicide, which provoked an outpouring of support and compassion from her fans, followers, and other figures in the music industry. So we went over to the motel to check on her.
"We heard that she has since been checked in to a hospital, and we have made periodic checks throughout since". "I'm fighting, fighting, fighting, fighting, and fighting, like all the millions and millions that I know I'm one of, to stay alive everyday, which I'm doing because I love the people that are doing this to me".
CNN recently reached out to O'Connor's representatives for comment. However, after a police investigation, she was found to be safe and well.
In it she claimed to have been abandoned by her loved ones, and that the help of her psychiatrist was "the only thing keeping me alive at the moment".
Meanwhile, neighborhood fans showed up with flowers and food yesterday in an effort to help the troubled star, but were all turned away when they were told she was no longer at the motel. "I know that I'm just one of millions and millions of people in the world that suffer like I do that don't necessarily have the resources that I have".
