Rainbow Six Siege " s last major content update (referred to as "Operations' by Ubisoft) was delayed back in May to implement some essential improvements to the game, but now, with the enhancement period nearly at a close, the developer has announced the next operation.
But at least's The content update will introduce a new map for free, as well as three new operators. Two of the new operators will be from Hong Kong, and one from Poland.
The new map is called Theme Park, and it's set in Hong Kong.
The arrival of this expansion also marks the conclusion of Operation Health - an initiative in recent months to address the biggest issues plaguing Rainbow Six Siege.
The large setting is likely to be loosely based on the Ocean Park water park, which is just south of Hong Kong, and is the largest amusement park in the city.
Rainbow Six Siege returns to form at the end of the month as we wave goodbye to Operation Health and welcome Operation Blood Orchid.
As is tradition, a new map will also be added to Siege, which will be playable by all from the 29th.
Ubisoft has not released any specific details about this operation right now. Ubisoft dropped a teaser for the new season, which will get a full reveal during the Rainbow Six Pro League finals later this month.
All three new operators will be available for season pass holders from the 29th August, while all other players will have to wait a week, being able to purchase them for in game currency on the 5th September.
