French President Emmanuel Macron is facing criticism after it emerged that he has spent £8,000 of taxpayers' money on make-up every month since he was elected.
The monthly count of job seekers is closely watched in France, where the unemployment rate is 9.5%, above the European Union average and more than twice the rate in Germany.
Meeting with French President Emannuel Macron, Radev also said that a "comprehensive" approach is needed for the EU's efforts to overcome differences between western and eastern European countries about rules governing how companies in low-wage countries post workers elsewhere.
It wasn't immediately clear if all the charges were for Macron and his wife Brigitte Macron, the Washington Examiner reported.
"He thinks nothing of spending thousands on himself, at a time when he is just about to start cutting jobs". 'It seems that he just wants to hide his real face, ' told the Conservative Daily Mail. "It would be interesting to see what the first lady Brigitte is spending on make-up too".
The Elysée Palace could not be reached for comment but, according to local reports, presidential aides said the makeup artist had been called in as "a matter of urgency" and that future makeup bills would be "significantly reduced".
Whatever it was, the critic added that Macron's lavish spending was a symptom of a "hyper-vain president".
However, polls show the 39-year-old president's popularity plunging in recent weeks, with some polls showing his approval rating down more than 20 points since his first days in office.
