Mr Odinga had earlier in the day dismissed the results that are giving Jubilee presidential candidate Uhuru Kenyatta the lead as dubious.
IEBC also announced that by 2pm, some 40 per cent of voters in 25,000 polling stations had cast their ballots translating roughly to some seven million Kenyans who had voted by that time taking into account that each polling station has a maximum of 700 registered voters.
The electoral agency said final results are being collated from forms 34A and 34B.
"Presiding officer, party agents sign the F34A at the polling station before onward transmission to the tallying centers", Chebukati briefed the media on Wednesday.
In a statement by the electoral body through its official social media accounts, IEBC disregarded reports that victor of the 2017 presidential race will be announced tonight.
Nasa presidential candidate says hacking affected results of the entire general election.
The IEBC official said copies of the forms showing the actual results and how they are tallied have been called from the 40,833 polling centres countrywide. The chairman of IEBC, Wafula Chebukati denied any knowledge that their system was hacked.
"We are Kenyans. We need to remain united".
"If there are such claims we are looking into them".
Chebukati further said the commission will institute an internal probe on any interference with its database as claimed by NASA.
"In the event of any discrepancy regarding the displaying of text results and those transmitted through the prescribed form, the form shall be the basis of the final result similarly in order to enhance transparency in the electoral process the commission shall grant presidential candidates special access to the form for purposes of their own verification", said Ms Maina.
"As of now, we can not say whether the system has been hacked into or not", he said while promising thorough investigations into the matter. "Our assumption is that most of the results that are trickling in are from areas with strong 3G and 4G network and we are confident before the end of the day, we should have the results", said Chiloba.
