But all of that changed after Pace learned of other women who allegedly are still being abused by Kelly in his "cult", according to the report. Another former victim, named Jerhonda Pace, has come out to talk about her underage relationship with Kelly and the subsequent payouts.
Pace accepted a monetary payout several years back to sign a nondisclosure agreement in order to maintain her silence, but following that explosive, intial report, she felt compelled to step forward and share her story. Eventually, she says that she told him her age and gave him her ID, and nothing changed, though Kelly told her that she should say she was 19 and act like she was 25. Kelly got her drunk on her next visit, and told her he is excited by the fact that she was a virgin, leading to the two of them having sex. Kelly later invited her to a mansion party in suburban IL. In May 2009, a 16-year-old Pace was invited to a party at Kelly's Olympia Fields, Ill., mansion. Their relationship continued for seven months; According to Pace, Kelly filmed many of their sexual encounters without asking Pace's permission. She said they started having a sexual relationship when she was just 16. Subsequently, she signed a settlement draft which states that "the terms and existence of this Agreement and of the [earlier] 2010 Settlement Agreement shall be strictly confidential".
"At the time I was still, you know, pretty star-struck, so I was in disbelief", she said to BuzzFeed.
Adding that she's broken a non-disclosure agreement by coming forward with her tale, Pace explained that she wants to try and help the other women now living with Kelly. "Even though I had already met him at his trial, I was like literally at his house, so it did not feel real". "He's brainwashed them really bad, and it kind of reminds me of Charles Manson", Pace told BuzzFeed, later explaining that she is considering pressing criminal charges against the singer. I just really hope I can help these women out. "Kelly needs to be stopped".
Apparently, Jerhonda Pace (née Johnson) was an avid fan of the chart topper and made a point to attend his 2008 child pornography trial.
The two then proceeded to have oral sex. She told him that she was 19. She says that he slapped, choked, and spat on her.
"I just knew that I liked his music, so I was pretty much accepting of anything that came with him at the time".
When contacted by authorities in relation to the recent allegations against the singer, a least one women in question has publicly declared that she is of age and engaged in a relationship with R. Kelly completely of her own free will.
Soon after, Pace reportedly left the home and reached a settlement with Kelly through Chicago attorney Susan E. Loggans.
An R. Kelly representative sent along this statement to BuzzFeed: "The allegations against Mr. Kelly are false, and are being made by individuals known to be dishonest". It is clear these continuing stories are the result of the effort of those with personal agendas who are working in concert to interfere with and damage his career.
