Bieber moved away from his bromance with Mayweather during his intense work with Pastor Carl Lentz at Hillsong Church, which encouraged him to get rid of bad influences, according to TMZ.
TMZ reports that Bieber won't be in attendance for Mayweather's super fight against McGregor and that Mayweather remains "incensed" that his longtime friend has chose to sever ties with him.
As a result, Bieber chose to lose Mayweather's number while he also takes a breather from what was set to be a punishing run of stadium tour dates this Fall across North America and Southeast Asia. He just wanted to "reset boundaries" by "walling himself off from things like Floyd's obsession with strip clubs".
So perhaps Mayweather might have seen Bieber's Instagram slight coming, given their relationship has cooled recently. The boxer even supposedly called his former friend a "traitor" because Mayweather was there for Bieber when people were attacking him during his meltdown.
"I don't think so", Bieber told TMZ when asked if he thought Mayweather would win by KO. Shortly after Mayweather announced his retirement in 2015, the two were spotted vacationing in Bora Bora together. He'll have other A-listers to look on, including Angelina Jolie, Elon Musk, P. Diddy, Drake, Charlize Theron, Denzel Washington and LeBron James.
