Melania Trump wears a custom Hervé Pierre white, blue and red dress with Christian Louboutin pumps for dinner with President Trump, French President Emmanuel Macron and his wife Brigitte Trogneux at the Jules Verne restaurant at the Eiffel Tower in Paris. She spoke briefly in French to six children, asking how they were and introducing herself before switching to a translator to ask how long they expected to stay.

Ysatis later told The Associated Press she appreciated the visit. "She's attractive and gorgeous", Ysatis said. It is the biggest pediatric hospital in Paris. "It's lovely", she said.

The first lady, though not as visible as some of her predecessors, has taken on a fairly prominent role on her husband's three worldwide trips. During the visit, she also met and shook hands with doctors, nurses and other staff.

"I respect the decision of President Trump, but I remain attached to the Paris Agreement".
