In addition, more than a smartphone, the Galaxy Note 8, including the Emperor version, might turn out to be a phablet, with a display of 6.3 inches. For those who look after power and performance, the Galaxy Note 8 is indeed one of the most wanted device this 2017.
The Galaxy Note 8 is Samsung's first Note model to release after the Galaxy Note 7 debacle.
That date might have been inadvertently leaked ahead of schedule by Samsung itself. Romanian tech blog, Ausdroid shared documents, which originally came from a Samsung webpage and detail the logistics of a Galaxy Note 8 promotion to be hosted in Australia.
The document, which has now been pulled, is labelled "Samsung Galaxy Note 8 screen assure offer" and has the product number.
Samsung has also removed this differentiating factor of a large screen as the recently launched Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus smartphone devices have a larger screen similar to the Galaxy Note series.
The extra heft brings a few obvious benefits, though, with the S8 Active set to pack a 4000mAh battery - a significant step up from the S8's 3000mAh cell.
Samsung were rumoured to have been working on a Bixby speaker to rival the Amazon Echo, but it's believed those plans have now been scrapped.
It could signal that a United Kingdom and Australian release date is not far behind.
Reuters/Andrew KellySamsung will hold an unpacking event for Galaxy Note 8 on august 23. Now despite it being a tough nut to crack, it still, hold some design cues from its premium counterpart the Samsung Galaxy S8, specifically its attractive 5.8-inch 2960 x 1440 Super AMOLED display.
On the camera front, you get the same 12-megapixel rear camera with dual-pixel technology and an 8-megapixel front camera for selfies and video calling, which is present in the standard variant.
