However, Nawaz Sharif has rejected this demand.
The scandal centers around allegations that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif's family owns properties in London through offshore companies.
An statement released by the government said the Cabinet reposed full confidence in the leadership of Prime Minister Sharif and endorsed his decision not to step down.
According to the letter, PM Nawaz personally want to speak to his UAE counterpart on urgent basis.
She said the documents proved she was a "trustee and not the owner" of the properties.
It is understood that this attempt to establish a contact with UAE hierarchy is to discuss the issue and probably to request a withdrawal or denial of the documents.
The crisis hit the Sharif family when the Panama Papers disclosed previous year three of Prime Minister Sharif's children owned offshore companies and assets not shown on his family's wealth statement.
PML-N leaders have termed the JIT report politically motivated and worthless, saying they will "destroy" its contents during the next hearing of the case.
The JIT in its final report on the money laundering case against the Sharif family, submitted on 10 July, had recommended that a corruption case be filed against Sharif and his sons Hassan Nawaz and Hussain Nawaz, as well as daughter Maryam Nawaz, under the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) ordinance, 1999.
A Joint Investigation Team (JIT), set up by the Supreme Court to investigate corruption allegations that surfaced following the Panama Papers leak, also accused his children, including heir apparent Maryam Sharif, of signing falsified documents about ownership of off-shore companies.
The language used in the JIT report displays malafide intentions, he said. It said Sharif failed to satisfactorily answer most of the questions put to him during his appearance before investigators on June 15.
But Opposition parties repeated their demand. "Our family has gained nothing from politics but lost a lot", he said while chairing meeting of the Federal Cabinet.
Opposition leader Khurshid Shah said Sharif had no moral ground to remain as the premier.
He questioned why no action had been taken against the prime minister so far.
Sharif was originally nurtured by the military as a civilian politician who would protect their interests, and he served as prime minister twice in the 1990s. If he were forced to step down, his ruling PML-N party could appoint a new leader as prime minister until the polls.
