The airline's latest star-studded clip features the two stars as mythical Gods guiding travellers through the regular inflight practice along with some breathtaking scenes of New Zealand's landscape including: the Southern Alps, Otago - including Dunedin and the Moeraki Boulders - plus the White Island and the Auckland Harbour Bridge.
Air New Zealand unveils another weird, wonderful and unusual safety video.
"Her voice is enchanting and soothing, exactly what you need for safety video", he said.
The video, entitled "A Fantastical Journey", is set to My Little Corner of the World performed by Kiwi artist Gin Wigmore, and shows a number of iconic locations throughout New Zealand.
But others struggled to keep up with AirNZ, which followed its initial hit with series of safety video epics that included a celebration of the New Zealand-made Hobbit trilogy and science fiction's Men in Black.
Jodi Williams, general manager of global brand and content marketing at Air New Zealand, said the airline had taken a different approach to its latest video which draws heavily on special effects.
Not only does it contain the usual important information on sear belts, oxygen masks and emergency exits, it also features Hollywood stars Cuba Gooding Jr and Katie Holmes. "It's also fantastic to see this track feature amongst some stunning New Zealand scenery, including my little corner of the world - the Coromandel".
Air New Zealand are definitely known for their quirky safety videos on their flight - but we feel like we've fallen down the rabbit hole with this one.
A Fantastical Journey will be rolled out across the airline's fleet from today and can be viewed online here.
