JoSAA 2nd Seat Allotment 2017 Results: The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA), set up by the Ministry of Human Resources Development (MHRD) will display the second round of seat allocation on July 4th at 5 Pm as per schedule.
Joint Seat Allocation Authority has released the Mock and Round 1 Seat Allotment Results for the applicants who have qualified in JEE Mains and Advanced Entrance Exam. Candidates who are not happy with the Round 1 Seat Allotment went for next allotment.

The eligible students were asked to register for JoSAA 2017 counselling from June 15 to 27.
Acceptance or withdrawal of seat can be done on 5 and 6 July from 10 am to 5 pm, a report in English Matrubhumi said. The allotment statistics revealed that 36,114 candidates were allotted seats in the first round across 97 Institutes. Those shifting to NIT+ from IIT will have to report to the NIT+ reporting centre.
After checking the result, students can either accept the allotment, participate in the next round, report to the college or withdraw their acceptance.
Now, The results of second round of seat allocation will be announced at 5 PM on 4th July. Based on the results of mock allotments, candidates made changes in their filled choices, if they need. A total of 1,960 seats in various engineering streams are still vacant at the prestigious IITs (Indian Institute of Technology) across the country including IIT Bombay and IIT Delhi.
To withdraw: Visit the reporting centre before the seventh round of allotment is over.
The students who will be allocated a seat will have to download the Provisional Seat Allocation Letter and an e-challan for the payment of seat acceptance fee. Those candidates who have already secured admission from the first round of seat allotment will have to choose between the options of "freeze", "slide" or "float", to be part of the second round allotment. JoSAA will conduct seven rounds of seat allocation for academic programs under JoSAA for the academi term of 2017-18.
The candidates are required to produce their original admit card of JEE Advanced 2017 during seat acceptance and admission. The list of announcing centers s is available at http://josaa.nic.in/.
