Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) will be releasing the notification for the CAT 2017 in newspapers across the country on July 30, 2017. Candidates will have the choice to select four cities for the test in order of their preference. This year IIM Lucknow PGP Admission Chair Professor Neeraj Dwivedi will be the convener for CAT exam.
Candidates can download their hall tickets from 18 October onwards till the test date 26 November. This year IIM Lucknow will be conducting the test and CAT 2017 will be held on November 26, according to multiple reports.
The test will be conducted in 140 cities.
Candidates must pay the registration fee through online payment modes only, which include credit cards, debit cards and net banking.
Lucknow is all set to publish notification of the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2017 on Saturday (July 29). Common Admission Test will lead to admissions in IIMs and leading colleges that offer management programs in post graduation. There will be questions divided in three sections namely Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension, Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning, Quantitative Ability. However, a few questions will require answers to be typed in directly. Candidates who will appear in this entrance exam for admission 2018-20 must register and submit application form before last date. An on screen calculator will also be there, which can be practiced upon in mock test launched officially. "Candidates will be allotted exactly 60 minutes for answering questions in each section and they can not switch from one section to another while answering questions in a section", he said.
IIM Lucknow to conduct CAT examination this year.
This year, the exam will be held in two sessions.
The first step will be Written Ability Test (WAT), and if one cleears it then he/she would be eligiblle for Group Discussion (GD) followed by Personal Interviews (PI) round.
