Talinda Bennington paid tribute to the late musician in a touching statement released to E!

He revealed that he had met both of them for a brief time and both were truly lovely people.

Summary: Linkin Park bassist Dave Phoenix Farrell posted a touching message on Twitter in honor of Chester Bennington - the Linkin Park lead singer who was found dead in his Palos Verdes Estates home on July 20.

JOHN has shared that he was very saddened by the tragic loss of Chester Bennington and the singer's close friend Chris Cornell this year.

"Sometimes, as Jim Carrey said when Phillip Seymour Hoffman committed suicide, "the noise just gets too much", he continued, adding that he wanted to pay tribute to the rockers and remember them fondly and the music they left".

The musician ended his note by asking fans if they have any pictures from memorials they've held in honor of Bennington to share them with him. She wrote: "One week ago, I lost my soulmate and my children lost their hero - their Daddy". News reads. "We had a fairytale life and now it has turned into some sick Shakespearean tragedy".

'How do I move on? We wrote down how we feel about Chester. How do I pick up my shattered soul? "Thank you Linkin Park, thank you Chester. I wish I could personally thank every one of you for your love and support". "And I know that all of you will help keep his memory alive".
