His rep also states that there is surveillance footage to prove that he wasn't even in the vehicle at the time the cops arrested him.
"Somebody said I was driving recklessly on the road, that's what the police report said, but the alignment was off on my auto, so I went to AutoZone to see if I could do anything about it".
After tweeting about missing his Saturday show with Flo Rida in Kansas City, Missouri, due to "transportation issues", Carter says he changed routes to head to Alabama, and that's when he was stopped at an AutoZone in Georgia to fix his alignment after getting a new tire.

Aaron Carter claims he was taking pain medicine for injury, marijuana for anxiety caused by 9/11 before DUI
Backstreet Boys member Nick Carter, Aaron's older brother, took to Twitter to relay a message to his younger sibling. "They said, 'Is there anything illegal in the auto?' I said, 'I have marijuana in the vehicle'".
An emotional Carter said his problems started after he purchased a "very cheap car" to drive from gig to gig on the East Coast.
Carter also said he doesn't drink alcohol "at all" and smokes marijuana for anxiety, which he also treats with Xanax.
The star also defended his possession of marijuana, explaining the celeb had a medical marijuana recommendation for his anxiety. In the ET interview, Carter refuted that he needs help or struggles with drug addiction.
"I'm sorry, sometimes I really wish I did look better, or I eat more like y'all say, this life doesn't come w much stability.", he wrote. "I have a medical conditional. The doctor told me I have to keep stress out of my life, or else it's gonna take a toll on me and I can develop cancer".
He wrote on Twitter, "I will NOT continue to tolerate such lies about me regarding drug use with alleged meth (amphetamine), heroine (sic), crack - it's not amusing!" "What I need is for people to understand that I'm human and that I make mistakes just like every other human in this world, but I would never risk my life or my girlfriend's life".
