Xiaomi has announced the launch of a range of accessories in India such as 20000mAh Mi Power Bank 2, 10000mAh Mi Power Bank 2, Mi Wi-Fi Repeater 2 and Mi Bluetooth Speaker Mini. This is Xiaomi's second attempt at selling a Bluetooth speaker with the now extinct but extremely good performing Mi Bluetooth Speaker being the first. Further, the speaker offers 4 hours of battery life, and will be available from June 21 for purchase in just INR 1,299. The Mi Bluetooth Speaker Mini has 5 metre range, and power rating of 2W along with a noise ratio of 53 dB.
The 10000mAh Mi Power Bank 2 costs ₹1,199, and will go up for sale on Mi.com and at Xiaomi's Mi Home retail store in Bangalore starting June 20.
The device has a compact design and can be easily configured using the Mi Home app which identifies, analyzes and resolves Wi-Fi issues.
Mi Wi-Fi Repeater 2 is said to be compatible with most popular router brands and will be available exclusively on Mi.com and Mi Home at Rs. 999 from June 20 onwards. So you can even plug this into a power bank or a laptop and use, rather than looking for a power plug all the time.
The Wi-Fi Repeater 2 has two PCB antennas and offers speeds up to 300 Mbps.
Xiaomi is also rolling out an updated variant of the 20000mAh Mi Power Bank that retains its ABS plastic housing and textured pattern. The speaker will be available in two colours- Grey and Gold. Xiaomi has also devised a new fail-safe mechanism which would allow users to charge low power devices like Bluetooth headsets, fitness bands by double pressing the power key.
The 10000mAh Mi Power Bank 2 has a black, anodized aluminum enclosure, two-way fast charging and is only 14.1mm thick. It needs to simply be plugged in and can be connected to up to 16 devices in one go. The Mi Power Bank 2 has support for two-way fast charging and is driven by high-density lithium polymer batteries, thin anodised aluminium casing.
The Mi Power Bank 2 with a capacity of 20000mAh will set you back by Rs.2199. It features Bluetooth 4.0 technology for a stable, energy-efficient connection and has the power button and the micro USB charging port neatly tucked at the bottom. The actual output capacity of the MI Power Bank 2 (20000mAh) is 14000mAh. The power bank can charge two devices simultaneously, and has the same circuit-level protection as the 10000mAh Mi Power Bank 2. Both the devices will be available from June 20, 2017, on company's official website and it will also be available on Amazon and Flipkart from July 07, 2017.
