Guy's Hospital, near London Bridge, was placed on lockdown "due to the ongoing incident in central London.to keep patients, relatives and staff safe", it said in a statement.
"Customers who wish to reschedule their London flights from 3, 4 or 5 June can do so with no penalty or extra payments", it added.
London Bridge is a major transport hub and nearby Borough Market is a fashionable warren of alleyways packed with bars and restaurants, always bustling on a Saturday night.
Metropolitan Police commissioner Cressida Dick declined to give any details about the identities of the attackers, but said a large investigation was underway to work out whether anyone else was working with them, or helping to plan the attack.
An official with London's Metropolitan Police said it first received reports that a vehicle had struck pedestrians on London Bridge around 10 p.m GMT.
National Crime Agency director general Lynne Owens said: "First and foremost our thoughts have to be with the family and friends of everyone killed or injured in last night's horrific attack".
Officials in London have declared the attacks "terrorist incidents".
Another witness, Mark Roberts, told CNN he saw the van hit multiple people before hitting a bus stop and stopping. She said five credible plots have been disrupted since March.
However campaigning has been suspended for the day, including by a number of political parties in Northern Ireland.
Another violent incident with an edged weapon took place simultaneously in Vauxhall district south of London but police dissociated it from terror. "She was going, 'Help me, help me'".
Medics treated people lying injured on the ground near the market as shocked people cried and shouted around them.
The attack unfolded quickly, and police said officers shot and killed the three attackers within eight minutes.
Ignoring his own safety, hero Gerard - who lives in nearby Bermondsey - threw chairs and bottles at the terror monsters as they carried out the attack. "They put pressure on the stab wound".
Another witness, who declined to be named, his white top covered in blood, described a scene of panic in the bar.
The government and diplomats on the ground in London are advising travellers to avoid the affected areas, follow the instructions of local authorities and monitor local media. Another witness, Brad Myers, had just left London Bridge when he heard a "boom" behind him, which he thinks was the sound of a auto hitting the guardrails or other vehicles.
A few minutes later Trump tweeted a message of support for Londoners: "Whatever the United States can do to help out in London and the U".
In the aftermath of the attack London's police force used a new warning system urging people to "Run, Hide, Tell", outlining the ways in which people should respond if caught up in an attack.
