In a statement, Foreign Office spokesman Nafees Zakaria rejected reports appearing in some foreign media regarding deployment of Pakistani troops in Qatar.
Earlier, there were reports of Pakistan sending troops to Qatar after Turkey's chose to deploy troops in Qatar.
The TRT Urdu report added that, upon adopting the bill, lawmakers in the NA urged Qatar and other members of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) to resolve their differences through dialogue.
He stressed it was high time that government of Pakistan should take concrete steps towards forging unity amongst the Muslim Ummah.
The resolution was prepared by the opposition Pakistan Peoples Party and Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf and was passed unanimously.
Last week, Saudi Arabia along with several Gulf states severed diplomatic ties with Qatar after accusing it of supporting and funding terrorist groups. Qatar, however, denies the accusations.
Some foreign media publications recently claimed that Pakistan would deploy 20,000 troops in Qatar, following Turkey's decision to allow its troops to be deployed at a Turkish military base in the Gulf country facing isolation.
A six-member Qatari delegation, including members of the royal family, reportedly visited Pakistan during the past week and relayed a message from the Qatari Emir asking Pakistan to play a positive role in resolving the diplomatic crisis engulfing the Middle East.
He was hopeful that if honest efforts were made by Pakistan and other Muslim countries, they would help in resolving the diplomatic crisis engulfing the Middle East in a peaceful manner and without causing much damage to their economies.
