The 23-year-old singer has returned to the city to stage a benefit concert for the victims of the terror attack at her concert at Manchester Arena on May 22, in which 22 people died and over 50 were injured, and she surprised some of her youngest fans with a hospital visit.
"Ariana brought everyone a sunflower and a teddy bear", Lauren Thorpe told CNN.
"Lily's face lit up and Ariana was wonderful with her", Thorpe said.
Adam Harrison told the BBC his daughter Lily "felt like a rock star" after meeting her idol late on Friday and was "chomping at the bit" to attend the concert.
All Grande fans who attended the targeted gig were offered free passes to Sunday's benefit concert regardless of where they purchased their tickets.
"Jaden was just sat there watching TV and she walked in". "She'd met Prince William earlier today and then Ariana walked in". All the proceeds from the event will go to the We Love Manchester Emergency Fund, aimed to provide financial help to all the families affected by the bombing.
Show organizers announced Saturday that the British-American frontman of the group Mumford & Sons will join Grande, Coldplay and other stars at the concert raising money for victims of the May 22 suicide attack in Manchester, England.
The pop star's visit was a much-needed respite for everyone at the hospital, Thorpe said. She has a big smile anyway but it got even bigger, Ariana gave her a hug and a kiss, she was in awe.
"So happy she came i could burst!", he wrote.
