The Mayor of London Sadiq Khan invited Londoners and visitors to come together at City Hall, which is less than a mile away from the epicentre of where the attacks occurred.
The attackers rammed pedestrians with a van before launching frenzied stabbings in the market. Security sources in Dublin said one of the attackers was carrying an identification card issued in Ireland when he was shot dead, the Press Association reported.
