Arriving at the Federal Judicial Academy, Hassan Nawaz waved his hand to the people present outside the building.
THE Supreme Court, on Monday, set aside objections of Hussain Nawaz against two members of the Joint Investigation Team (JIT) on Panama Papers ruling that the team would continue to work till something concrete comes up.
The premier's son reached the Federal Judicial Academy - the office of the JIT - at around 10am to record his statement and left at 5pm.
The six-member JIT was constituted by the Supreme Court to examine the financial transactions of the Sharif family to buy four apartments in Park Lane, London.
Strict security measures were in place in light of the premier's son's arrival at the venue. Hussain Nawaz had said that his brother Hassan's businesses were different from him.
Express News screengrab shows PM Nawaz's son Hassan Nawaz appearing before the Panama Papers JIT. "But if someone will not be fair, then it should be brought to the notice of the Supreme Court, public and media", he said.
Hussain's counsel Khawaja Haris during the hearing argued that the behaviour of the two JIT members was "abusive".
In another tweet in Urdu and an obvious reference to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan, she said someone asked for starting the accountability from him, but it takes a heart like that of Nawaz Sharif to face a tough time.
He also claimed that no evidence will be found of any irregularity against him, his father or any sibling in the investigation.
Hussain said he was questioned in isolation and wasn't allowed to be accompanied by a lawyer.
However, he said that he would produce only those documents which he was legally bound to submit before the JIT, adding that he would appear before the team again, if summoned.
