Montanez-Crespo, 44, was one of five killed in the workplace shooting Monday at Fiamma Inc. No charges were filed at that time.
He was sacked in April, and back in 2014, he assaulted a co-worker but was never charged.
Local media have reported that at least one of the survivors was in the bathroom during the shooting. The gunman fatally shot himself, and another victim was rushed to a hospital, mortally wounded. "My boss is dead", Adams said.
"He was certainly singling out the individuals he shot", Demings said, adding that most victims were shot in the head. He says no survivors were shot or hurt.
The family of 53-year-old Kevin Clark was too devastated to talk, but wanted the world to see his smiling face.
Officers were still searching the home by 6:30 p.m.
"It is a sad day for us here once again in Orange County", Mr Demings said.
Orange County Sheriff Jerry Demings described the shooter as a 45-year-old man who had been fired in April and had been previously accused of assaulting a co-worker.
Florida police say the gunman was a former employee at a store on the estate but he was sacked in April - he took his own life after killing five others.
"We have no indication that this subject is a member of any subversive organization", said Demings.
The shooting happened inside a business that manufactures awnings.

In June 2014, authorities responded to Fiamma when Neumann was involved in another workplace violence incident, in which he allegedly battered another employee, Demings said. He was not charged in that case. He said he ran to the front door and found a woman pleading with a passerby to use a phone.
Gomez says the woman told her that the gunman had told her to leave the facility.
Gov. Rick Scott issued a statement issued a statement saying he was briefed by law enforcement "on this tragic incident".
Today's shooting incident comes a week ahead of the anniversary of the Pulse nightclub massacre in Orlando.
According to The Gun Violence Archive, there have been six mass shootings since June 1, and that does not include the shooting in Orlando on Monday. "So he was a disgruntled employee that came back to this business".
Fiamma Inc., at 2427 Forsyth Road northeast of Orlando, is "one of the world's largest manufacturers of RV awnings", according to the company's website.
Sheriff Jerry Demings met with other area leaders at 11a.m. for a news briefing.
Multiple fatalities have been reported, however, little else is known.
The FBI report tally includes all shootings that occur inside a business, regardless of whether the shooter worked there.
Adams said her sister kept repeating, "My boss is dead".
