Well, that is not going to be the case apparently, as he is the latest Black Panther cast member to be confirmed for Infinity War.
Meanwhile Marvel have announced their new flick Infinity War which is scheduled for release next year and - as its title suggests - has set itself out to be pretty epic.
IMDB is reporting that Winston Duke - a.k.a. M'Baku/Man Ape - will be a part of Infinity War. As such, some fans remain wary about accepting such news as official.
It's definitely interesting seeing how Black Panther's storyline is unfolding, and how it will eventually tie into Avengers: Infinity War.
Man-Ape was presented as a secondary villain in Black Panther when he was cast, but it has been widely assumed that he would be no more than a supporting figure with Michael B Jordan's Killmonger and Andy Serkis' Klaue already in the top bad guy roles. Boseman debuted the role back in 2016's "Captain America: Civil War". However, his reported inclusion in Infinity War may mean something even bigger in store for the character. Could it be that we'll see Thanos attacking Wakanda? But, the extent of his involvement - and the rest of the Wakanda nation - has yet to be clarified. T'challa, however, defeats him in a battle and Man-Ape has never stopped trying to beat up the Black Panther ever since.
Of course before Avengers: Infinity War, its DC equivalent Justice League - which sees the return of Wonder Woman - hits cinema screens this November. Or might M'Baku end up siding with Thanos in an attempt to overthrow T'Challa?
Bold words from Pine aimed at what is expected to be the most expensive movie of all time from Marvel.
