Carlos Pena Set To Become Rangers Third Summer Signing

Barring any unexpected developments, Pena should become a Rangers player by Friday, joining defender Bruno Alves and former Aberdeen captain Ryan Jack who joined the Ibrox club earlier this week.

The Gers have also been linked with potential moves for Aberdeen's Ryan Jack, Hearts' Jamie Walker and Norwich's Graham Dorrans as they look to rebuild their squad this summer.

Reports in the player's homeland say he has agreed a three-year deal with Rangers which will be completed after a medical.

The central midfielder had a number of options to pick from this summer, with interest high in his services.

Jack is Caixinha's first Scottish signing....

I believe 25 is a great age for him to come here.

"From what I've heard the club are making a few signings and bringing in a good calibre of player, so it's exciting times and I know there are really good players already here as well".

Rangers are determined to put in an improved performance next season, after finishing in third place in the Scottish Premiership this time around.
