Triumph Motorcycles India has launched the all-new Triumph Street Triple with prices starting at ₹ 8.50 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) in the entry-level S variant. It features a new engine, revamped design, lighter chassis and updated suspension.

Furthermore, the 2017 Triumph Street Triple 765 S also receives a new engine cover and radiator guards to enhance the overall appearance. At present, the naked is being offered in 2 colour options - Diable Red and Phantom Black.
The new Street Triple S is powered by a 765 cc, three-cylinder liquid-cooled engine, which churns out 110 bhp of power when mated to a six-speed gearbox. The engine has received over 80 new parts with an increased bore and stroke, new cams and pistons, which aluminium barrels for better heat dissipation. In fact, this same engine will also power the FIA Moto2 championship from the 2019 season. The RS variant will be introduced later this year. The split step up seats on the new Street Triple 765 S adds to the sporty character of this motorcycle. The motorcycle gets a sharper rear end along with some cosmetic updates here and there. There's also a new gullwing swingarm in place on the new Street that's lighter as well. Triumph has also equipped the motorcycle with 310 mm dual disc setup at the front and a Brembo 220 mm single piston disc at the rear as well as Showa suspension at the front and rear preload adjustable and swingarm. Dual-channel ABS is offered as a standard feature and can not be switched off.
The new bike, Street Triple S, will be assembled at the company's Manesar plant. The new Street Triple S will rival the likes of Kawasaki Z900, Ducati Monster 821 and Aprilia Shiver 900.
The company has already opened bookings for the model and deliveries from its 14 dealerships are expected to begin from the next week.
