Fans of Bethesda may have something other than the new Elder Scrolls Online expansion to look forward to soon, assuming they're not averse to mobile games. If it is confirmed, it would not be the only news that is coming from Bethesda: a job advertisement has in fact revealed that the new Montreal studio is working on a freemium game, probably for mobile platforms.

The rumour comes at the same time Bethesda Game Studios has posted a job listing for a "bleeding-edge AAA fremium game".

The listing itself states that, "In this role, you will work with game team to envision, evolve, and operate monetization strategies, targeting the intersection of revenue generation goals and quality player experience". Bethesda usually doesn't make freemium video games so this is a new venture for them.

Bethesda Game Studios is one of the most decorated developers in the modern gaming scene and are known for pushing the boundaries of the single player RPG genre with critically acclaimed masterpieces such as the Elder Scrolls and Fallout franchises.

It seems unlikely that this AAA freemium game is the mobile title, as job listings for that game tend to reference mobile game development and don't use the term AAA. He does give a fair bit of information while remaining vague on details.

We now know that they are working on Elder Scrolls for the Switch as well as Fallout 4 VR from an interview with IGN, and we know there is a mobile game in the works as well. What are you hoping to see?
