Xiaomi is now all set to launch its successor Mi Max 2.
Xiaomi has revealed a poster that teases the announcement of the next generation large screen smartphone, the Mi Max 2. It shows that the Xiaomi Mi Max 2 will come packed with 6-inch full HD display and 5000mAh battery.
The phone will likely not be sold officially anywhere in the United States, or Europe, but phone geeks would still find it worth knowing about its existence.
The Mi Max 2 is said to come with a Snapdragon 626 chipset, 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. Now we've seen quite a few incorrect leaks take place around the Xiaomi Mi Max 2, so let's hope this poster date turns out to be true. Like the Mi Max, the successor model will also have a metal unibody outline and a finger print sensor put at the back. It will have a 4GB/6GB RAM and 64GB/128GB of internal storage. However, the organization may convey the new Smartphone to worldwide markets in a month or two, which is thinking about the way that the Mi Max was launched in India in June, barely a month after its unique launch in China. As far as the connectivity options are concerned, the Mi Max came with USB OTG, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, Infrared, FM, 3G and 4G and sensors like Accelerometer, Proximity sensor, Ambient light sensor and Gyroscope.
Pricing details of the smartphone are a bit dicey at the moment, but rumor has it that even the highest configured model will come with a sub-$300 price tag but that might only be limited to China. We also expect to see the NFC support along with fingerprint sensor for using the Mi Pay mobile payment service in China. It will also run Android Nougat 7.1.1 with MIUI skin on top. It will be a dual sim device. Xiaomi has already created a teaser site for the phone and is promoting the phone through a game on the website. Stay tuned to Gadgets Post for more updates.
