Arsenal board of directors will decide either on Wednesday or Thursday, whether the club will retain the services of their coach, Arsene Wenger for another season.
"The first goal should never have been allowed - it was clearly a hand ball and then Ramsey was offside because he was interfering in play", the goalkeeper was quoted as saying by Chelsea's official website on Sunday.
Arsenal took a fourth-minute lead with a goal that will be debated long after the final whistle. Arsenal kept creating chances to score and in the meantime, Chelsea was down to 1 men with Victor Moses being sent off from the field after receiving his second yellow card.
But even though Arsenal held every advantage, the match wasn't over.
Although Diego Costa equalised in the 76th, bringing down Willian's lofted ball on his chest and striking past David Ospina, Arsenal was back in front inside three minutes.
The tie didn't last, though.
Wenger has been barracked by his own fans and failed to secure Champions League qualification for the first time in 20 years, but he ends the season by surpassing Aston Villa's George Ramsey as the FA Cup's greatest manager.
"It's a pity that we didn't win the FA Cup, but don't forget we had a big (performance) to arrive here and we must be proud of this".
"I said last week that this team would win the championship with one or two buys and keep them together". For all his shortcomings this season, the way he adjusted the squad down the stretch should be commended.
The Premier League champions also claimed Sanchez handled in the build-up. However, Conte and co. can be more than satisfied with their Premier League-winning campaign. He finally turned to Danny Welbeck as the starter at forward, and the attack has looked much more alive since.
Meanwhile, the Confederation of Africa Football have congratulated Iwobi and Egypt midfielder Mohamed Elneny after Arsenal were crowned 2016/2017 FA Cup winners on Saturday. Fair play to him, he changed the system. The 67-year-old Frenchman is still facing protests from a number of supporters who do not want him to sign a new deal at the Emirates Stadium, with his current contract expiring next month.
Ikpeba, a television pundit, who played under Wenger during the 1993/94 season at Monaco hopes his former boss gets the respect he deserves from Arsenal fans following their FA Cup conquest.
