San Antonio Spurs star forward Kawhi Leonard did not participate in Thursday's practice, and his status for Saturday's Game 3 in San Antonio against the Golden State Warriors remains in question because of an ankle injury.
"Now we are going back home and there's still a lot of reasons to believe".
Simmons made two free throws later for the Spurs, but Curry tied the game at 106-106 with a trey and Green made a driving layup for the lead.
"And that was the message to the team afterward, too, going into Game 3. So, Game 2?" he said.
"I stopped, I did what they asked me to and I let them take care of San Antonio", Brown said. Game 3 is at 8 p.m. Saturday at the AT&T Center, with Game 4 tipping off at the same time Monday.
And there's this: If Leonard's ankle is still tender on Friday, Popovich might shut him down for the rest of the series. That's the way I process it. "I'm disappointed. You have to believe". Vazquez filed a lawsuit on Tuesday against Pachulia and the Warriors on behalf of Spurs season ticket holders and a local card shop, asking for $73,000 in damages and a temporary restraining order against Pachulia.
Popovich was taking a stand, he was performing some playoff theater, he was trying to prod his players into something special in Game 2... and what he got was a bunch of Spurs who probably realized that Popovich was so angry because Leonard is so valuable. That's just part of the game, it's been happening forever since I've been in the League. That's why Popovich used his bully pulpit, knowing millions of people would see and hear everything he said, to tell the 13 players in the losing locker room Tuesday night that the performance they had just put forth was unacceptable.
With Kawhi Leonard recovering in his home, it's highly likely the Golden State clinch the Game 2 to night.
A Livingston dunk, Ian Clark's three and a Klay Thompson conventional three-point lead ballooned the lead to 114-77 with 10:37 left in the game. He also found time for seven rebounds, a game-high seven assists and three steals in 31 minutes.
Spurs fans reportedly flooded Pachulia's Instagram account with so much vitriol, that the 33-year-old disabled his comments.
"It's fun to watch".
"So I literally start to go, and I'm going to get in the far left lane to go through where we all go through, and a cop out of nowhere pulls in front of me and goes, 'Hey, you, stop!'" he said.
Important note: every day the goal of this post is not to give you a copy-and-paste lineup.
After two matches, the Warriors have won their games by two-points and 36-points respectively.
Only eight other National Basketball Association teams have ever opened a postseason 10-0.
Curry meanwhile had nothing but praise for Warriors youngster McCaw, who filled in for the injured Andre Iguodala with 18 points.
"Not at all", said Warriors guard Stephen Curry.
The Warriors outscored the Spurs 25-14 the remainder of the quarter, hitting the 100-point mark with a McCaw jumper to make it 101-70, 2:35 showing on the game clock and the outcome now well in hand.
While he didn't exactly say it, I feel Pop meant that, as we've seen so often this season, Aldridge has been timid.
