The horror of Monday night's (May 22) suicide bomb attack on an Ariana Grande concert at the Manchester Arena in England will be with the survivors forever.
According to the Guardian, one of the men who ran the pizza shop may have rented a property in Manchester to Salman Abedi before he went to Libya in the weeks before the attack.
Seven other men are in custody in connection with Monday's blast, with police and security agencies working to prevent further attacks.
"This is a fast moving investigation and we are keeping an open mind at this stage".
Officials were aware that Manchester Arena bomber Salman Abedi was a potential terrorist threat for as long as five years.
British police and security services were also upset that Mr Abedi's name was apparently leaked by United States officials and published while British police were withholding it - and while raids were underway in Manchester and in Libya, where the bomber's father lives.
Ms Grande said what happened on Monday was the exact opposite of what she had wanted: "This show, more than anything else, was meant to be a safe space for my fans.
The only thing I saw was the bottom half of the suicide bomber".
On Wednesday, photographs purportedly showing bloodstained fragments of Abedi's homemade bomb, including what seemed to be the remains of the device's battery and detonator, appeared in the New York Times, hours after home secretary Amber Rudd asked USA authorities not to leak material.
"I have a few like holes in my legs and stuff and I have a bit of a cut, and my arm and just a bit here, but compared to other people I'm quite lucky really", she said.
The suspect in the deadly Manchester concert bombing was driven by what he saw as unjust treatment of Arabs in Britain, a relative said Thursday, confirming he made a final phone call in which he pleaded: "Forgive me".
Manchester police continued making arrests in the investigation with the number of detentions rising to eight in the wake of the UK's worst terrorist attack since the July 2005 bombings in London.
German authorities are now trying to determine whether Abedi had contact with Islamic extremists in Germany before flying to Manchester last week, the magazine said. It also reports that British police informed their German counterparts Abedi had received paramilitary training in Syria.
"On the issue of the intelligence sharing with the United States of America, we have a special relationship with the USA". Representative Adam Schiff, the senior Democrat on the House Intelligence Committee, confirmed that the decision to release specific details was for the British, rather than the Americans, to take.
Shortly after the memorial service, Queen Elizabeth arrived at Royal Manchester's Children's Hospital to visit some of the 64 people injured in the attack.
Abdullah Muhsin Norris, 70, told Sky News that Abedi was ejected from his mosque in Moss Side two months ago after he had tried to hide in the mosque library to read religious books overnight. Crowds gathered at well-known sites including London's Parliament and Trafalgar Squares and Manchester's Albert Square.
