And what does this mean for the future of West-Allen? He agrees to bring Cisco and Caitlin home and runs off.
The finale wastes very little time in revealing that Savitar, in fact, did not murder Iris.
Given Kara's optimistic demeanor, she certainly would embrace Wally's new role, especially with his ties to Barry and Iris. However, Iris calls Barry "B.A". Part of the future changing? Only look if you want to know. Savitar said he fought with DeVoe but Barry does not seem to recall anyone by that name. And Harry came back to STAR Labs from Earth- and promised Barry he'd stick around. He even gets Savitar to reminisce about their favorite memory of their parents. He grabbed the piece of Savitar's blade that they had and followed it to his lair where he found Iris tied up.
And with That, It's Time for Summer Vaca - Oh, Who Are They Kidding?
"With the help of his adoptive father, Joe West (Jesse L. Martin), his lifelong best friend and love interest Iris West (Candice Patton), and his friends at S.T.A.R. Labs - Cisco Ramon (Carlos Valdes), C.S.I Julian Albert (Tom Felton), and an Earth-19 novelist named H.R. Wells (Tom Cavanaugh) - Barry continues to protect the people of Central City from the meta-humans that threaten it". Although it's not a 1:1 adaptation of Marv Wolfman's Crisis on Infinite Earths from 1985, the final moments of the season finale sure feels like it.
Yet again, Iris is showing pity towards a brooding Savitar and it's honestly way too sick and twisted to be palatable. Will the West-Allen wedding ever happen? This is all Savitar needs to order Caitlin to "do it" - by which he means to kill Cisco. Who will replace him in the speed force? Naturally, this would go pear-shaped, albeit with Caitlin finally channeling her good side, and despite Savitar being defeated we would see Barry forced into a gruelling decision. The stakes don't always need to be that high, and since you can't get much higher than either wiping out of the multiverse or a time remnant trying to become the cause of the Big Bang by killing one of the show's only female characters (or however that was supposed to work out), it's probably time to scale down and focus on something less serious. With the suit now glowing red and Savitar on his knees, Barry has a choice to make. He does knock him out, though. He goes to see his evil self to try and get through to him. Later it was Iris shoots Savitar in the back before he had a chance to kill Barry. Dead on the ground, Savitar disintegrates.
Killer Frost watches everyone from a distance. There were a lot of emotions flying at the episode's end. They kiss and everything is going swimmingly, until the ground starts to shake and Central City begins to crumble around them. They come to conclusion that an quake hasn't hit.
Why Did The Speed Force Wait Before It Released Black Flash? In the first selfless move of the entire season, Barry sacrifices himself to the Speed Force. He bids each person dear to him a heartfelt goodbye, including an understandably distraught Iris who he encourages to really live. During this, Barry gets the epiphany he needs to reverse his thinking; hate was not going to win the day; it would be love and compassion.so, he arranges a meet with his dupe to talk him into letting Team Flash help him.
Hence the constant threat of Iris's death for the bulk of the season, and how this ended up being positioned as one last bill come due for his few blissful months in Flashpoint.
