-Stefan Struve recently spoke at a UFC Fight Night Q&A session before UFC Fight Night 109 (via mmajunkie.com), and he discussed UFC Heavyweight Champion Stipe Miocic.
Famed for his seven-foot frame, "Skyscraper" Struve is a veteran of the UFC, having made his debut back in 2009.
The 29-year-old is looking to add to a two-fight win streak, which includes finishes over Antonio Silva and Daniel Omielanczuk.
It was just over a year ago when Struve was first given the opportunity to compete inside the Octagon® in front of home fans.
Struve vs. Volkov is the first confirmed fight for the upcoming UFC event in the Netherlands at the Rotterdam Ahoy with more bouts to be announced in the coming weeks.
Volkov (28-6) has been flawless during his UFC career thus far with a ideal 2-0 record over a pair of very tough heavyweight challengers.
The two Giants will headline UFC Rotterdam on September 2nd. However, Miocic would later go on to become a title contender and won the heavyweight title.
The Frenchman has been dominating the UFC's heavyweight division as of late, with his unblemished 5-0 record under the UFC banner still intact after his recent first round knockout win over former UFC heavyweight champ Andrei Arlovski.
"Drago" sits comfortably in 10th on the UFC Rankings with Struve sitting right behind him at 11.
