PATERSON, N.J. (AP) An early morning shooting at a New Jersey nightclub has left one person dead and five others injured.
The wounded victims were found in the parking lot and inside the club at 86 Main St. around 5:30 a.m., according to Paterson Police Director Jerry Speziale.
Four of the wounded were rushed to St. Joseph's Hospital & Medical Center and two drove themselves to the hospital.
One of the victims was pronounced dead at the hospital, according to police. Police have to notify the person's next of kin before releasing name.
The club shooting came just a few hours after another reported homicide in the city.
A 20-year-old was fatally shot Saturday night in Paterson, police said. Steve Leishman, Det. Richard Martinez, and D/Sgt. Marco Alliano and Det.
