So you can nearly assume they're as good as legit, and that this is the notebook Microsoft will unveil at its May 23rd event in Shanghai.
It's not a massive surprise that the Surface Pro 5 isn't ready to launch just yet; Surface VP Panos Panay recently alluded to the fact in an interview with Cnet, where he basically said that it would be ready when it's ready.
The photos of the new Surface Pro was shared online by VentureBeat writer and notorious leaker Evan Blass.
This is a bit confusing if true.
For over a year, the tech world has eagerly awaited for the announcement of the next-generation Surface Pro, dubbed as the Surface Pro 5, from Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT). The new Surface Pro will also have new Pen and Type Cover color options that will be similar but not identical to the Surface Laptop's color palette. The latter two are probably going to be sold as optional accessories in black, blue, red and silver colors. However, mere days before the reveal, leaked images of the new system have hit the internet, along with its official name: "Surface Pro".
The leaked images suggest that Microsoft is bringing the its Alcantara fabric-covered keyboard to the Surface Pro range, a move that will no doubt divide opinion. However, everyone suspects the Shanghai event will be the one where we will finally get to see the new Microsoft Surface Pro tablet. These include the keyboard, the stylus, and the mouse. The successor for the Surface Pro 4 is long overdue, so we hope rumors are accurate, and the Surface Pro will launch on May 23 alongside its accessories.
