We know we've got the players capable of winning the league but it didn't happen - we've had to play through the Europa League to get to the Champions League.

With rumours surely to intensify surrounding Antoine Griezmann and Manchester United, the FC panel talk what the striker will bring to Old Trafford.

Griezmann has been strongly linked with a move to Manchester United, with the odds on the transfer only improving after United's Europa League win guaranteed them Champions League football next season.

However, Mourinho wouldn't be drawn on all that following Wednesday's 2-0 win in Stockholm.

Mourinho had earlier this week urged Ed Woodward to get cracking on signing the targets he wants.

He started only 15 Premier League games under Jose Mourinho, and his lack of game time at club level has seen him dropped from Gareth Southgate's most recent England squad for the matches against Scotland and France. It's for him to work because he has holidays in August and in August I'm working.

And now he is determined to escape football at least for a few weeks as he recharges his batteries following a tough first year in charge of United.

He added: "I don't care about football for a month".

With United set to make further attacking reinforcements in the summer, the club captain will find opportunities hard to come by again next season.

Jose Mourinho says he has "no idea" if Manchester United will sign Antoine Griezmann, but stressed that all the club's transfer dealings are in the hands of executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward.

"Ed Woodward knows since March who I want, what I want how much I want".

"Now is for him to work".
