The gunmen entered the school at about 6AM on Thursday after pulling down the fence. Investigation and rescue operation have commenced with the visit to the affected school by a police team, led by the Commissioner of Police, Lagos State.
According to a witness, "they attempted to scale the school fence on Friday night when private guards alerted policemen that were stationed around".
They struck after the operatives had left the school in the dawn.

While the identity of the students are still shrouded in secrecy, that of the junior secondary school principal was simply revealed as Mr. Bolaji Oyesola and his counterpart at the senior level as Mr. Akinrinmade.
It was learnt that four of the pupils were later released at the waterside by the assailants after profiling their parents' details while the remaining six pupils, identified as Peter Jonah, Isiaq Rahmon, Adebayo George, Judah Agbausi, Pelumi Philips and Farouq Yusuf, were taken away.
Just a few days ago, a Baale in Ibeju-Lekki Local Council was kidnapped.
The Cable reports that this attack is the second in the last five months. It's a wide and big river.
He said: "Some kidnappers gained entrance into Igbonla Model School, Igbonla, near Epe and abducted six students".
In a statement on Thursday, the police said Fatai Owoseni, the Police Commissioner, had raised a team to rescue the students and apprehend the suspects.
From the visit, it was discovered that the abductors used the Imeru/Oji waterway to access the swamp forest bordering the school.
Owoseni, who was at the school very early in the morning, appealed for calmness from parents and guardian of the kidnapped school children to enable security agencies focus on rescue operations.
He stressed that useful information from members of the public would be invaluable to the team's efforts.
