Armagh, Banbridge and Craigavon Council has opened books of condolence for the victims of Monday night's suicide bomb atrocity in Manchester.
"While acts of terrorism are more and more prevalent around the world, this attack, being so close to home, and affecting so many young people has really struck the hearts of many people right across Ireland".
22 people attending a concert were killed and almost 60 injured when a suicide bomber detonated an improvised device, numerous victims were children and teenagers, some as young as eight-years-old.
The book will be available at County Hall, Tallaght for signing until 4.30pm Friday 26th May.
City of Lincoln Council is also flying the flag above the Stonebow at half-mast.
He said: "A book of condolences has been opened to stand with the people of Manchester and support them in the work of unity which is a hallmark of their city".
"The response of your emergency services was clearly magnificent as was the response of local people in rushing to the aid of people involved".
The book will allow people to pen their thoughts and prayers for everyone affected by the attack in the city.
