Ever since DC relaunched their publishing slate with "Rebirth" a year ago, "Wonder Woman" has been one of the most consistently delightful titles on the rack. We've seen pieces of this scene in the trailers, but now we get to see a good chunk of it on its own.
Now, another Wonder Woman TV spot shows off even more spectacular action from the movie.
With Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 opening this weekend, Warner Bros.is looking to ramp up its promotional campaign for Wonder Woman to remind fans there's a DC superhero movie hitting just a month from now, too.
Meanwhile, the new poster first debuted on the Twitter feed of Wonder Woman herself, Gal Gadot.
The fight sequences with Wonder Woman taking on soldiers in World War II look like they're going to have some incredible choreography, perhaps the best action we've seen in the DC Extended Universe so far. As the trailers before this one have shown, Diana Prince meets a military pilot who has washed up on shore and when he tells her of World War 1, she decides to leave her life and home to follow Steve Trevor to London and end the war.
The latest epic adventure in the DC Comics library stars Gal Gadot, Chris Pine, Connie Nielsen and Robin Wright, directed by Patty Jenkins.
If you want to get to know Wonder Woman before her long-awaited movie, or if you want to jump back on the Wonder Woman train, this book is the ideal opportunity to do so. And so, more than anything, I think we're homaging the spirit of that Wonder Woman.
