To celebrate the 20th anniversary of the establishment of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, the scale of the Carnival will be expanded, featuring exciting dragon boat races, food and beer, music and local cultural elements.
You are at the waterfront. In a bid to distract the fish from eating Qu's body, admiring villagers rowed out in dragon boats and dropped sticky rice into the water. The [ Dragon Boat Craft & Race ] is an activity for the whole family and not to be missed! BeerFest of course! Right next to all the racing action is a festival where athletes and spectators drink cold beer and enjoy live entertainment.
Others eager to chill out in a big way can join the San Miguel beer drinking contest on Saturday, while group challenges are on Sunday. More than three hundred participants made up 17 teams to participate in the race.
Set against the city's iconic skyline, the 2017 Hong Kong Dragon Boat Carnival will be held from 2 to 4 June at Central Harbourfront. Representative dragon boat teams from different Hong Kong districts were also invited to take part, while the Fancy Dress Race brought some light-hearted fun.
