A brawl broke out during a minor league baseball team between the West Michigan Whitecaps and the Dayton Dragons on Sunday night. Some would say the baseball action of note was marred by a sixth-inning brawl. Regardless of your feelings, here's some color-television footage of sports violence. The Dragons' Jose Siri slid into second base on a steal attempt and while he was on the ground, Whitecaps shortstop Daniel Pinero appeared to purposely step on his ankle. Pereira and Siri were each ejected immediately. If you see an inappropriate comment, please flag it for our moderators to review. Speaking of said unraveling, here's this detail from MiLB.com's Tom Nichols. Cole Bauml led West Michigan by going 2-for-4 with a run scored in the victory.

During the melee, Whitecaps relief pitcher Eduardo Jimenez threw a ball at Dragons reliever Jesse Stallings, according to the Dayton Daily News and other reports.

Jimenez was not ejected, but will likely face a fine.
