The Senegal worldwide, now sidelined after a knee operation, was voted both the players' and supporters player of the year.
"Hopefully next week I will start running, jogging, so I'm happy and looking forward to it".
The Senegal worldwide was named Liverpool's Player of the Season and the Players' Player of the Season on Tuesday night after a wonderful debut campaign at Anfield.
The West Derby-born teenager noted that he wants to "push on now and do better", adding: "I think it was a shared award because I can't say I performed better than Ovie [Ejaria] or Ben [Woodburn], it's a joint effort".
'I want to thank everybody, all the fans who have voted for me, and I'm very happy.
"[The Players' Player of the Season award] means so much for me because it is the players in the dressing room who voted for me and I want to thank them".
"I thought the boys did really well in a lot of games. That's been the key".
According to the Liverpool Echo, however, the Anfield club's owners have assured manager Jurgen Klopp that the the soon-to-be 25-year-old is not going anywhere this summer.
Sadio Mane is also the only African player in the 2006-2017 Premier League season ideal team, recently released by the Association of Professional Footballers in England (PFA). "We are capable of beating every team in the league. I hope we'll all be celebrating in two weeks!"
Sadio Mane has expressed belief in his Liverpool teammates and urged them to complete their mission of securing Champions League qualification.
Without the Senegal global, the Reds have struggled to break teams down although they still have qualification for next season's Champions League just about in their own hands ahead of final games against West Ham on Sunday and Middlesbrough on May 21.
