Apple hasn’t exactly been silent when it comes to their tablets. The yet to be announced tablet is rumored to have the thinnest bezels ever seen on an iPad, as all four edges of the screen extend almost to the four edges of the slate. Will Apple release another tablet within the same calendar year?

Despite hopes that the two variants will be launched alongside each other in June, however, there are claims that Apple may not launch the two variants at the same time. This confirms that the iPad Pro 2 release date is set at the upcoming Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) Event, which is scheduled for June 5 to 9, 2017 in San Jose, California. A new leak however, suggests the premium tablet might still be in the works after all. Sources point to this being the case. A lot of rumors about Apple iPad Pro 2’s possible specs, release date and price have already flooded the internet.

Obviously, announcements of the new operating systems is inevitable. If Apple really wants to take up the fight with the Microsoft tablet, they should offer at least the macOS on their iPad, instead of a simple redesign of the iPad. It has been rumored as well, that Apple’s proprietary Magic Trackpad and Magic Mouse will somehow be added to the Pro line of tablets soon, meaning that Apple would be looking to make the iPad Pro a laptop replacement. Unveiling a new iPad as well may be a step too far.

On top of this, no-one is sure whether the 10.5in iPad will be a “Pro” model or not. This rumored device might have a True Tone display which means that the tablet automatically adjusts the screen temperature depending on the kind of light in the area where it’s being used.

The new 2017 iPad Pro 2 will be slimmer and lighter than other Apple iPad models.
